I. BIOGRAPHICAL STATEMENT

Daniel de Jesús is a multi-disciplinary artist—composer, singing cellist, violinist, songwriter, and visual artist—working at the intersection of Baroque-pop, Latin American musical lineages, and contemporary experimental performance. His work spans nine studio albums, dozens of collaborative recordings, and extensive performance with ensembles such as Rasputina, TivaTiva, Intercultural Journeys, and The Bearded Ladies Cabaret. A graduate of the University of the Arts (Fine Arts), Daniel performs internationally as a soloist and collaborator while simultaneously directing music education programming at AMLA (Artists & Musicians of Latin America).
